A UNESCO World Heritage cave in Slovenia built on a scale that is hard to believe: the Reka river vanishes underground and cuts one of the largest known underground canyons in the world, a chamber so vast the path crosses it on a bridge 45 metres above the roaring river in the dark. Less crowded than Postojna and, for sheer awe, unmatched in Europe. PUBLIC guided tours.
