Population five, and it used to run the coal out of the gorge

A town on the New River in Fayette County with a population recorded as five at the 2020 census. When the gorge was running coal this was a prosperous place, thick with businesses and Chesapeake and Ohio Railway facilities. Most of it now belongs to the National Park Service as part of New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, and the C&O passenger depot has been renovated. A whole railroad town with five residents left in it.
