Coke ovens and a conveyor, facing another dead coal town across the river
A coal mining complex and town near Winona, down at the bottom of the New River Gorge and built around the railroad line, with coke ovens and mining structures still standing and a bridge across the river to South Nuttall. It sits almost directly opposite the abandoned Kay Moor townsite on the far wall of the gorge, which gives you two dead coal towns facing each other across the water. It is inside the national park now.
