Haunted place

The KiMo Theatre

Albuquerque (Bernalillo County, New Mexico)

A 1927 movie palace in Albuquerque built in a dazzling Pueblo Deco style, and haunted, the story goes, by a boy named Bobby who died in a boiler explosion in the lobby in 1951. Staff hang doughnuts on a pipe backstage to keep him happy, and blame accidents on productions that fail to; a string of mishaps in the 1970s made the legend famous. PUBLIC, a restored city theatre, Albuquerque.
