Clarksville Cave

New York

One of the most popular wild caves in the Northeast: a half-mile of stream passage in the Helderberg limestone near Clarksville, preserved by the Northeastern Cave Conservancy and open to the public for real, self-guided caving. Free, no elevator and no gift shop, bring three light sources and expect to get wet and muddy.
