A cave system running 25 kilometres under the Hungary-Slovakia border, a UNESCO World Heritage site shared by two countries. The Baradla passages hold enormous dripstone formations and a concert hall used for its acoustics; the Slovak side’s Domica connects to it underground. Human use goes back seven thousand years.
