A state park made of two buildings, in a town of twelve people
A silver town of the 1800s up in the Elkhorn Mountains of Jefferson County, and one of the better ghost towns in a state that has plenty. Twelve people were counted here at the 2020 census. Two of the buildings are protected as Elkhorn State Park, which is an unusual arrangement: a state park consisting of two structures, standing in a town that otherwise just carried on emptying.
