Tonopah's 1907 grand hotel, restored and very much open, leans into its Lady in Red: a woman said to have been killed on the fifth floor, whose room you can book, and whose pearls guests report finding on pillows. The silver-boom town around it, mining park included, is worth the stop on its own.
