Denmark’s most reputedly haunted building, an 800-year-old castle on Zealand that served as a noble prison, its most famous inmate the Earl of Bothwell, third husband of Mary Queen of Scots, who was chained here until he lost his mind and died in 1578. A White Lady, a Grey Lady and Bothwell himself are the standing stories. It is a working hotel and restaurant now. PUBLIC, Zealand.
