Danish amber, the Jutland coast

After a hard westerly gale, amber washes up on the North Sea beaches of Jutland, and beachcombing for it is a Danish tradition, along with fossil hunting in the Mo-clay at Fur and Mors, which holds exquisite 55-million-year-old fish and insects.
