Denmark’s Faxe quarry cuts into a 63-million-year-old coral reef that grew right after the dinosaurs died, and it is one of the few places you can collect Danian corals, shark teeth, crabs and octocorals yourself, the quarry has a public collecting area and a geology museum on site.
