One of the first show caves in the country, a big onyx-marble cavern near Childersburg used by Native people two thousand years ago for burials, by Confederate gunpowder miners, and by Prohibition bootleggers who ran a speakeasy in the great room. Family tours now, with the history layered as thick as the flowstone.
