An abandoned spring resort with a few buildings still standing
A ruined resort town down in a river valley in west-central McDonough County, in Tennessee Township. People came here for the spring water and the town grew up to serve them. Not much of it is left, though a few buildings do still stand, which is more than most abandoned resorts can say.
