Three kilometres of impact crater, and not a thing to see on the surface

A meteorite crater 3.2 kilometres across, thought to be Cambrian or younger, which is to say under 500 million years old. YOU CANNOT SEE IT. The structure is not exposed at the surface, so there is no rim to walk and no bowl to look into; it is known from what lies beneath the farmland rather than from anything on it. Worth knowing you are standing on it all the same.
