Twenty-four miles of crumbling cliff along Chesapeake Bay, packed with Miocene sea life, and the beach below is renewed with teeth every time the bank slumps. Brownies Beach and the state park beach are the usual free access points; you pick the wet strand line rather than dig, and the cliffs themselves are dangerous and off limits. Big megalodon teeth do come out of here. Best after a storm or a high tide.
