The burying ground where Edgar Allan Poe lies, with a church raised on brick piers right over the old graves so that catacombs run beneath the pews. Poe, and the Poe Toaster who honored him for sixty years, are only the beginning of the stories; the catacomb tours are a Baltimore institution.
