The largest underground iron mine on Earth, inside a mountain of nearly pure magnetite above the Arctic Circle in Swedish Lapland. It is so vast, and undermines so much ground, that the entire CITY of Kiruna is being physically moved, building by building, a few kilometres east to keep it from collapsing into the workings.
