On the tip of the Bruce Peninsula, where the Niagara Escarpment meets the impossible blue of Georgian Bay, a sea cave called the Grotto opens at the waterline with a submerged tunnel to the lake, over water clear as glass. Above it the Bruce Trail runs the white cliffs, and offshore at Tobermory the shipwrecks of Fathom Five lie in water so clear you can see them from a glass-bottom boat.
