One of the great show caves of the world, in the Swartberg mountains of South Africa, a series of vast chambers of dripstone hung with immense stalagmite columns, some the size of buildings, in Precambrian limestone. Shown to visitors since 1820, it offers both an easy walk through the great halls and a genuinely tight “adventure” squeeze for the brave. PUBLIC guided tours, near Oudtshoorn.
