Club 49 Prospecting (“Club 49,” “we,” “us”) provides a free, members-only research map for gold prospecting in Northern California. By using club49.app you agree to these terms.
The app, map layers, honey-hole scores, and all content are provided as-is for research and education. We make no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose. Public datasets and models can be wrong, out of date, or incomplete. Always verify ownership, claim status, access, and regulations on the ground.
Nothing here is mining, geological, financial, legal, or safety advice. Honey holes are modeled predictions, not verified deposits. Never enter abandoned mines or shafts. Respect private property and active mining claims.
Membership is free. We may approve, suspend, or remove accounts at our discretion to protect the club and its members. You are responsible for your posts, photos, messages, and listings. Club 49 does not handle payments between members.
By posting finds, photos, journal entries, or listings you grant Club 49 a non-exclusive license to display that content to other members as the app is designed to do. Do not post exact coordinates of sensitive spots unless you intend to share them. Do not post illegal, harassing, or misleading content.
Do not scrape, bulk-download, or resell premium member data. Do not attempt to bypass membership gates or disrupt the service. Automated spam (including contact form abuse) is prohibited.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Club 49 and its operators are not liable for any injury, loss, fines, claim disputes, property damage, or other harm arising from your use of the app or reliance on its data.
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted in the app’s Updates section when practical.
