Documented folklore from the Club 49 map, told straight and sourced.
Under a railroad overpass in Clifton, Virginia runs one of the Washington area’s most stubborn legends: a man in a bunny suit with an axe, tied to an asylum escape that never happened and a run of Halloween scares in the 1970s that the newspapers really did report. Fairfax County police files record the axe-wielding rabbit-man complaints; the rest is the dark the overpass supplies.
